Olimar Makes His Return To The Wii U eShop This Week In The Original Pikmin Game


Starting this Thursday, you’ll be able to reexperience (or for the first time) visit the mysterious, vast lands with the Pikmin as you try heading back home with anything you can find in your way. This is the updated Wii version, which includes various new ways like the Wii Remote + Nunchuck. Brand New 2D Pikmin Game Revealed For The 3DS

During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, a new Pikmin game was revealed for the Nintendo 3DS. Contrary to the traditional Pikmin game, this game will be in 2D as opposed to 3D. Using the two screens and the touch screen, you’ll be able to explore a vast, new world on the go. The game is set launch in 2017 and is tentatively named just as Pikmin for the moment.

Pikmin for Nintendo 3DS (name not final): A new side-scrolling Pikmin adventure game unlike Pikmin games of the past is coming to Nintendo 3DS. Pikmin follow Olimar around, and players tap the touch screen where they want to throw them. This is designed as an action game that makes players think fast and use every Pikmin to overcome anything that stands in their way. The game is scheduled to launch in 2017.

Pikmin Short movies hitting both Wii U and 3DS eShops

The previously announced Pikmin shorts that would be releasing sometime in the future now have a secure format of distribution. Nintendo has announced that the Pikmin shorts will be coming both to the 3DS and Wii U eShop, although they won’t be available for download, meaning that you’ll be only to watch the via the eShop. New Pikmin 3 update now let’s you play the game using the stylus

Take the lead using the Wii U Gamepad stylus

User’s who owned Pikmin 3 on their Wii U’s were surprised by a notification on their Gamepad’s recently about a new update for the game. The update include’s the ability to use those cute Pikmin and fling them using the Wii U’s Gamepad touchscreen accordingly.

Previously, players were limited to the control options of ┬áthe GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, and Wii Remote/Nunchuk options. Now they can fling till’ their hearts content. Don’t forget you can get the game free of charge when you register Mario Kart 8 on Club Nintendo before July 31st, 2014 to register Mario Kart in order to receive┬áthe game.
