It’s come to a surprise that Xenoblade Chronicles may not offer a fan favorite option found on the Wii version of the game. Coming from reports from website Nintendo Life, whom had the opportunity to get play the game on the New 3DS.
While this is a disappointment to some fans who prefer listening to the game in the Japanese dub, you’ll only be able to play it in the English, with the British accents making the strong remarks in the game.
Although this may seem like a heart breaker for some, it may ultimately come down to storage space. Fitting the complete world in a portable was astonishing, and adding the Japanese context most likely didn’t fit into the cartridge. Although it’s just a thought and nothing official, it’s most likely why this got done.
You may be aware the New 3DS features the capability of reading objects using the built in NFC feature within in the recently released handheld. In the amusing video, Mario is making some payments using his New 3DS and then scanning them into his handheld, which gives an ease of access to the red plumber. Watch the video below to get a better understanding of how the NFC feature is utilized to make payments on the New 3DS.
The New 3DS is still a fairly new handheld in the market, with it already launching in Japan, New Zealand, and Australia (NA/US 2015) it’s still hidden with little tidbits like this one found by this user, who has a unit of a Japanese New 3DS.
It seems you can play a minigame by following a certain procedure in the Internet Browser by tapping certain objects. If you tap the Super Mario Bros. theme on the “New Page” screen, it’ll let you play a game called “stage select.” Check the video and tell us what you think about this hidden part hidden in the UI of the New 3DS.
