Mario Kart 8 Patch Is ‘Coming Soon’ to fix MKTV Uploading Isssue

The patches and updates are steamrolling in quick for many Nintendo games in the recent weeks. The next title in the line is Mario Kart 8.

Mario Kart 8 will be getting an update fixing problems where users were experiencing issue uploading their videos through the uses of Mario Kart TV. Users who can’t upload videos to YouTube through the game will now have a solution, according to a Nintendo representative via Tech Forums on the Nintendo site.

Currently, when attempting to upload a game highlight video to YouTube, some users may receive Error Code 104-1852 and the video upload may fail as a result. Nintendo is aware of this and a system update to address this issue is being prepared. We will provide a status update on our support website here once the system update is ready for release.

Mario Kart 8 update coming next week for Mii suits customization look to match Amiibo

Through the official Nintendo website, it has been revealed that Mario Kart 8 will be receiving an important update, allowing Mii customization look to match the Amiibo you own.

The update is coming next Thrusday the 13th for users to download off the eShop. Here’s the details from the official English Nintendo website.

According to the official website, Nintendo has revealed the Amiibo’s that will be able to be used on Mario Kart 8. Some of these chracthers you expect to be included… but others, they seem rather strange? Take a look below at the list at every confirmed Amiibo for Mario Kart 8

Could this mean Samus, Fox, and Kirby to be part as DLC in the game? Probably not. Although not confirmed, it can be speculated that the characters Amiibo mentioned above may unlock some costume variations or even possibly a different wardrobe look. Mario Kart 8 DLC coming this year, let’s you play as Link

10991121 3  Coming straight from the source, the Nintendo UK store has confirmed the release of DLC for Mario Kart 8 for the upcoming months. To commence, the first pack will be released on November 2014 and the second one will release on May 2015.

Each Add On Content pack will contain two new cups, each with four courses, which, in total, increases the number of available courses by 50 percent. The Add On Content packs include classics like Wario’s Gold Mine from Mario Kart Wii, as well as new courses, some taking place in the worlds of The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing. New vehicles will also arrive with each pack, including the Blue Falcon kart representing the F-Zero franchise in the first AOC pack.

Pack 1 includes:

  • 3 Characters: Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, Link
  • 4 Vehicles
  • 8 Courses

And here’s what the second pack is set to include:

Pack 2 includes:

  • 3 Characters: Villager, Isabelle, Dry Bowser
  • 4 Vehicles
  • 8 Courses

And if you decide to buy both packs, you’ll get 8 diffrent colored Yoshi’s and 8 diffrent colored Shy Guy’s that can be used right away!

Nintendo of America says Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class kart will release in the United States

Today, Nintendo of America has announced the Mercedez-Benz GLA-Class kart, which released in Japan already, will be making it’s way to North America this summer. In Japan, this GLA car was free to download for all users as long as you were connected to the Internet. In a tweet, here’s the official statement given by the company.
