The New 3DS is still a fairly new handheld in the market, with it already launching in Japan, New Zealand, and Australia (NA/US 2015) it’s still hidden with little tidbits like this one found by this user, who has a unit of a Japanese New 3DS.

It seems you can play a minigame by following a certain procedure in the Internet Browser by tapping certain objects. If you tap the Super Mario Bros. theme on the “New Page” screen, it’ll let you play a game called “stage select.” Check the video and tell us what you think about this hidden part hidden in the UI of the New 3DS.

With a rather interesting easter egg found in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, a Japanese gamer with a copy of the game, discovered a certificate for his original Pokemon of the GBA release would impact the 3DS version.

By transferring the Kyogre from the original Game Boy Advance version to the 3DS, he was presented with the certificate seen above. Which, when translated, states:

Dear player Tetra,

We hereby praise you with this certificate, for your unbreakable friendship and tight-knit bond with Kyogre.

From all members of the Game Freak staff.

Very considerate by the quirky development team at Game Freak.

DK Bongos will be a controller option for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

The most particular news for this game? Probably. It’s been discovered that the DK Bongos designed for the GameCube iterations for the DK series will be usable in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. To bring out the most intense matches, forget about the Gamecube controller, you need the Bongos.

As seen in the video below, you can play to you’re hearts content to attack with them, but the only input it detects is the A attack. Happy drumming folks!
