The two new core Pokemon titles have been unveiled for the Switch.
The Pokemon Company earlier today revealed the next iteration in the Pokemon series. After taking a break last year with Pokemon Lets Go, Eeeve! and Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu!– the series is finally returning to the roots many people have gone to adore and love throughout the years.
It was revealed the next two iterations of the upcoming Pokemon games would be named – Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.
Alongside the name reveal, we also got a look at the new region called Galar, alongside the three new starter Pokemon: Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble.
A lot of new mechanics were promised by Mr. Masuda for Sword and Shield, while maintaining the core formula that made it successful in the first place.
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will launch ‘Late 2019’ as of now. You can watch the video presentation below or check out more information regarding the game through the official website.
