The release of Pokemon for Nintendo Switch maybe closer than you think.
With the latest entry of the Pokemon series – Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon released in 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS, it closed the gate for future mainline Pokemon games releasing on the 2011 device.
Similar to the transition from the DS to 3DS, the Pokemon series is ready to make the move on more powerful hardware than previous predecessors.
A rumor coming from trusted Twitter user Pixelbar, is claiming the new Pokemon title will be releasing this November with the titles being code-named ‘Project Beluga’ internally.
The Pokemon Company had already stated the new mainline Pokemon game would be arriving for Switch 2018 or beyond during E3 2017.
Expect more details as soon as E3 this year, which takes place June 12 – June 14.
