The fourth installment in the series will have a blazing release this April
The new God of War game now has a release date after weeks of speculation of whether or not it’d be delayed. We now know that the fourth installment in the series will release on April 20th, 2018 for the Playstation 4.
In addition to the news of the release date, Collector’s Editions have also been announced for those who choose to follow the universe of Norse to their heart’s content.
There will be three (3) special editions you can pick up from;

The first one is God of War Collector’s Edition, which will retail for $129.99 and include 9″ Kratos statue, a steelbook case, digital loot, and more. (full list below)

Next up is the God of War Stone Mason Edition, which will retail for $149.99. Although a $20 upgrade from the Collector’s Edition, you’ll get more bang for your buck with this version.

God of War Digital Deluxe Edition
And lastly, but not least, Sony Santa Monica will be releasing a CE for those who prefer a digital version of the game, you’ll be able to get the goods while getting a code for a digital voucher of the game.
Currently, the Digital DX edition is currently not up for pre-order
Those in the US and Canada who pre-order the digital deluxe version will also receive the Kratos pictured above.
