Sonic the Hedgehog Creator Joins Square Enix

The former head of Sonic Team joins the ranks over at Square Enix.

The former head of Sonic Team, Yuji Naka, and lead programmer for the original Sonic the Hedghehog, has announced he has joined Square Enix via Twitter.

Naka previously helped program the Sonic games to run on the SEGA Dreamcast before leaving Sonic Team back in 2006. He has announced he’s still developing games, although this time around it’ll be with Square Enix.
