Just as we approach the 2 year mark for X, Monolith Soft President talks about how he’d like to bring the game onto the Switch.
You may remember Xenoblade Chronicles X, an ambitious JRPG from Monolith Soft that released just roughly two years ago on the Wii U. After the release of Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, the game did receive some flack with it’s character development and censorship in the Western version, even though the game played and looked beautiful itself.
Nonetheless, that doesn’t stop Tesuya Takahashi, President of Monolith Soft, wanting to bring X onto the Switch sometime in the near future. In fact, just as the original Xenoblade was later ported onto the New 3DS, he wants the same effect with X.
Although it’d be a financial talk them and Nintendo would have to come in agreement with. If Xenoblade Chronicles X gets some refinement from it’s original release, would you be willing to give the game a second chance?
4Gamer: Just as Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii was made available on the New 3DS, are there any chances we’ll see Xenoblade Chronicles X on other hardware?
Tetsuya Takahashi, Monolith Soft President: “Personally speaking, there are times I feel like playing Xenoblade Chronicles X and think about how nice it would be to play it on the Nintendo Switch. Of course that will depend on demand and such, but I will think about it while discussing future plans with Nintendo.
