A December to remember, Yooka-Laylee finally arrives on the Nintendo Switch this December after long anticipation.
Playtonic has announced a release date for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Slated for December 14th, the game will arrive on the eShop for a release in 2017 just as the developer had promised earlier this year.
The game released earlier this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in April, receiving below average scored due to technical problems, but later was patched in to improve on these bugs for a more ‘enjoyable’ experience. Playtonic has been working on the Switch version directly for months, optimizing it to ensure a quality release, while Team17 handled the PS4 and Xbox One ports.
You can pre-load the game beginning December 7th. As of now, no physical version of the game has been announced. Will you be picking up Yooka-Laylee on the Ninendo Switch this December?
