RiME, the once Playstation exclusive, is taking a price cut for its digital counterpart on the Switch. You’ll have the option of going digital and getting the game for $29.99 (previously $39.99) or go for the physical version for $10 more and receive a digital copy of the official OST of the game.
In a recent blog post on the developers website, the reason behind the initial cost increase was due to the manufacturing cost for Switch carts, making it differential from Sony’s and Microsoft’s Blu-Ray discs. To compensate, they have given the chance of purchasing the game for the same price on digital shops for the same price.

First off, the digital version of RiME on Nintendo Switch will now cost $29.99 / €34.99 / £29.99, the same price as the game on other platforms. So, that’s straightforward enough.
