Just after releasing on the Wii U last year, it was the first time Minecraft had released on a Nintendo console in the history of Mojang’s hit sensation. Now, the Switch version of the game has an official release date.
Beginning May 11th, the game will be available to download on the Switch eShop, with a retail release coming later down the line. Even better news for those who might of missed the Wii U version, the Super Mario DLC will also be coming to this version. Up to eight player will be able to join in on the fun. Currently, you can only pre-order the physical version on Amazon at the moment.
