Hold onto those rupees!
After the fret of a Scandinavian retailer mentioning that the production of the NES Classic Edition had come to a close, it seems that rumor has been shot down by Nintendo themselves. While this is good news to hear for those who have yet to obtain the console itself, it still doesn’t unfortunately fix the stock issue that’s happening worldwide at the moment.
Nintendo of Europe confirmed that production of the sensational miniature device was still alive, according to TechRadar. Phew…
“Production for the Nintendo Classic Mini: NES continues, and NOE [Nintendo of Europe] will continue to ship units to retail on a regular basis,” said a Nintendo UK representative.
For our European friends, be sure to be on the look out for stock in the near future and whatever you do, avoid buying one off of the scalpers!
