The man behind the offices of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime has expressed his thoughts regarding Wii U, stating that it’s a mere better value than Xbox One and PS4, which are entering the first major non-launch holiday season.
The Wii U will have to fence both them off, since it’ll be entering it’s second holiday season in the market, with it’s rivals starting to deliver some impressive titles in the market. In a interview with Wall Street Journal, Reggie had a couple of words how Wii U is a better value this holiday season, with all the deals you can get with its impressive first party line of games.
“You wanna play these fantastic games, you want these fantastic experiences, these can only be found on Wii U”
The good news, for us, is that we’re presenting the best value right now in new home consoles. $299, includes two games; it’s a compelling proposition for consumers this holiday.
We convince them with the games. So as an example, you can only play Mario Kart 8 – this fabulous game that has sold millions of copies across the world – only on the Wii U because of the enhanced capabilities, the HD graphics, the new elements that we bring to bear for that particular game.
For us the message is simple; [if] you want to play these great games, you want to have these fantastic experiences, you have to upgrade to the Wii U.
And there it is, an excerpt of Reggie’s comments on why Wii U should be in you’re household, if it hasn’t yet. To watch the full interview, watch the video below.

Uh, huh. Will Nintendo ever develop a decent Baseball game? I bought a PS4 just to play MLB The Show.
