Nintendo confirms compatible Amiibo’s for Mario Kart 8

According to the official website, Nintendo has revealed the Amiibo’s that will be able to be used on Mario Kart 8. Some of these chracthers you expect to be included… but others, they seem rather strange? Take a look below at the list at every confirmed Amiibo for Mario Kart 8

  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Yoshi
  • Peach
  • Donkey Kong
  • Link
  • Kirby
  • Captain Falcon
  • Samus
  • Fox McCloud

Could this mean Samus, Fox, and Kirby to be part as DLC in the game? Probably not. Although not confirmed, it can be speculated that the characters Amiibo mentioned above may unlock some costume variations or even possibly a different wardrobe look.
