3DS was the only platform to have games sell more than one million copies in Japan

The 3DS library has been on fire since 2013, in Japan and overseas in the western parts such as North America and Europe. The latest news has emerged that 3DS was the only platform to include games that sold over 1 million copies in the region. 8 titles snuk into the barrier and took the charts by storm. It’s bizarre for us western gamers to see the 3DS be the only platform to do so superb in Japan, but it seem’s they have taken a handheld/mobile approach as the majority. Will Mario Kart 8 make it to the best selling games in Japan for 2014? We hope so, as that game was excellent and beyond.
