Smash Bros update: 8-7-14

Another Smash Brothers update is now abroad you! Today we examine what Sakurai gave us on Miiverse, and that happened to be on the topic of trophy’s. We found out that Dr. Willy (above) will have his own trophy debut in the 3DS version of the game. Sakurai also explained that if you want to be able to see the trophy from a different angle, you could do so by drawing circles in the bottom screen of the 3DS. And as you can also see, the description of the trophy will be displayed on the bottom screen of the handheld. We also found out that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will have a bigger trophy assortment that Brawl for the Wii. Here’s what Mr. Sakurai had to say on Miiverse for today’s Pic of the Day on Miiverse.

Pic of the day. Here’s the trophy gallery for the 3DS version. You can rotate the trophies by drawing circles on the bottom screen. Super Smash Bros. Brawl had tons of trophies, but rumor has it that the 3DS version alone may have more than Brawl. Looks like the Dr. Wily that we made from scratch for the 3DS version is on his knees in disbelief.

In the comment section, Sakurai went on to take his post to a even greater length, giving us a insight on how to acquire some trophies through some alternative ways. Apart from collecting them in a battle, you’ll be able to use Play Coins and use to them to buy certain trophies. Sometimes, trophies will even go on sale, as seen with the Phantom trophy below. Here’s what Mr. Sakurai had to say on Miiverse on his additional post + the screenshot.

Here’s something new–the trophy shop. If you’re having a hard time getting certain trophies, why not just buy them? They sometimes go on sale, too.
